Little Miss Mexico

Well, the festival season has well and truly begun here in Adelaide, and when entering the new pop-up bar and taqueria Little Miss Mexico in the twilight hours of friday evening, I could definitely believe it. Corporate aficionados sauntered into their weekends armed with imported mexican beers, while other guests dabbled in fresh sangria or local Vinterloper wines, settling in amongst the miss-matched furniture for the long haul. Old corona crates littered the surrounds, cacti peered out from corners and crevices, while the exposed rustic walls of surrounding buildings lent the bar its mexican authenticity, albeit in the middle of the Adelaide CBD. Brought to you by the creative minds behind La Cantina Co and famous Adelaide night haunt Electric Circus, the intoxicating meld of uber cool hangout and mexican novelty, along with the amazing authentic mexican fare, will have the people of adelaide tipping their sombreros in appreciation.

Situated beside the Crown and Anchor on Grenfell street, Little Miss Mexico will be running for the duration of the Fringe and Adelaide Festival (hopefully longer…) and with extensive opening hours you really have no excuse not to head along and grab a drink. Jump on the their facebook page for more information. Come for the Tacos. Stay for the sangria.

See you there! Adiós

*Edit* As of 20.03.13, Little Miss Mexico have had their licence extended beyond the Fringe Festival and now will be operating 7 days a week! Arriba!
