Abandonment

Cameo top | Vintage skirt and belt | Marcopizzi from cherri bellini boots | Marc by Marc Jacobs watch

Sorry for the absence of late, I have been enjoying the sunsets, storms, sand and huge dose of my own company down at the beach. Nothing like the loneliness of a shore devoid of other people to refresh you, and when the strong salty winds whip through your hair you can forget all that stress from the ‘burbs. This is a house I once used to play in as a kid when we travelled down to our beach house nearby. It has been an awfully long time since I played here last, and I am thinking I am not the only one. With neglect comes vines and broken glass, and so do kids with spray cans.

Nice feel to those black and whites… great feeling of light – like the graffiti crown you’re wearing in the last one! G

Thanks! Haha the crown is my favourite, love little coincidences like that. There is something nice and nostalgic about black and white as well. Thanks for stopping by x x

Ha, I thought that shot had been intended! Even better in that case – nice coincidence!

Yep, black and white always gives a different character, I think it often ‘tells the story’ more effectively (though it could be I’ve just been brainwashed by years of watching b&w films!) G

The first shot was a fluke, imagine that. W took the photo and laughed and showed me – and then this one! No i love black and white too 🙂
